Divorce Appraisals in San Marcos & San Diego County

Dividing community property fairly begins with a number nobody has a reason to distrust. A divorce appraisal supplies an independent, fully supported opinion of the marital home's market value that family-law attorneys, mediators, and the San Diego County Superior Court can all work from.

Divorce Appraisals in San Diego County, California

Impartial by Design

An appraiser is not an advocate. The analysis I perform and the conclusion I reach are identical no matter which spouse or which firm placed the order, and that is precisely why opposing counsel and the bench accept the result. Where both parties agree to share one appraiser, a joint two-party engagement keeps costs down and removes the dueling-appraisal problem entirely.

Which Date Does Your Case Need?

California matters sometimes turn on value at the date of separation, sometimes on current value, and occasionally on both. I can prepare a present-day valuation, a retrospective separation-date valuation, or parallel conclusions for each date so that the figures in your marital balance sheet line up with the dates your case actually depends on.

If the Number Is Challenged

When a valuation is contested I can explain and defend it in deposition or at trial, and I can review an opposing appraiser's work product. Reports are written in plain, well-organized language, because a conclusion a judge cannot follow is a conclusion that will not persuade.

Divorce appraisals are priced by report type on the published fee schedule. A reduced fee applies when both parties jointly retain me.
